Empowering Change and Inclusivity: COS Celebrates International Women's Day 2021

At Clinical Outcomes Solutions (COS), we have always recognized the power of diversity and inclusion in driving innovation and excellence in Clinical Outcomes Research. Today, on International Women's Day 2021, we proudly celebrate the remarkable achievements of the women within our team who continuously inspire us with their dedication and passion for making a difference.

The global statistics tell a sobering tale – less than 30% of the world's researchers are women, and female students remain underrepresented in fields like mathematics, science, and engineering. The gender gap is a harsh reality, exacerbated by disparities in publishing and remuneration for women working in these fields.

However, at COS, we are committed to challenging these inequities head-on. Strong women do not just lead our company but is also supported by a diverse management team that actively confronts bias and inequality. Our leadership is deeply dedicated to cultivating an inclusive environment where every team member is valued and provided the support and recognition they deserve to reach their full potential.

Stacie Hudgens, the Founder and Strategic Lead of COS, emphasizes the importance of today's celebration:

"On this International Women's Day, we take pride in honoring the women who drive our team's success and our remarkable progress in fostering inclusivity through our Diversity and Inclusive Panel. However, we also acknowledge that much work is ahead to ensure equal opportunities. So, we #ChooseToChallenge. We are committed to creating a world where diversity thrives, and we hold ourselves accountable for our role in achieving this vision. As we commemorate #IWD2021, we extend our unwavering support to women in our field and pledge to continue making a positive impact."

International Women's Day 2021 serves as a poignant reminder of the journey we've embarked upon towards gender equality. At COS, we proudly raise our hands in solidarity with women worldwide, and we are resolute in our determination to be part of the solution. Together, we are driving change, embracing inclusivity, and shaping a brighter future for all.
